SnackSmart was born from a simple yet powerful realization: the snacks in most vending machines don’t reflect the care we want for our kids. As a mom, I couldn’t ignore the lack of nutritious options in schools—the very places shaping the future of our children. That’s when I decided to create a solution that not only supports student wellness but also connects businesses with schools in a meaningful way.
Studies show that students with access to healthier snacks are 25% more likely to excel academically, and 90% of parents prioritize schools offering better food choices.* These numbers fueled my determination to bring healthy, low-sugar, preservative-free options to schools while fostering stronger ties between businesses and their communities.
